Simulator Mode

Whenthe counter reaches zeroa beepsounds, and the displayunit switches
off. Releasethe POWER key.
Note:Switch the displayunitoff beforeyouremovethepower cord.
Note:You do notneed to changetoStandbymode beforeturningoff the dis-
play:ifyouturntheradardisplayoffwhileitisinTransmitmode,thescanner
isalso de-activated.
Simulator Mode
Whensimulatormode ison a simulatordata box is displayed.
Whenthedisplayisswitchedoffthenonagain,simulatormodeismaintained.
Itis recommendedthatyou select theSystem Set Up Menu and switch off
simulatormodewhenyouhavefinished.
➤ To view a simulatedimage:
1. PressMENU followed bytheSYSTEM SET UP soft key.
Thesetup menupop-upis displayed.
2. UsethetrackpadtomovetheselectionbarovertheoptionSIMULATOR.The
simulatorsoftkeys are displayed.
3. Inthesystem setupmenu, pressRADAR toviewa simulatedradar image,
DATA to view thechart displaywith simulatedposition,or BOTH to view
simulatedradarand chart data.
4. PressENTER twicetoreturnto the defaultdisplay.
Note:Any waypoints placedon the chartplotterin simulatormode are re-
tainedin thedatabaselist and are availableforuseinroutes.
