Mounting the Display
Unit
CAUTION:
Makesuretherearenohiddenelectrical wires or other itemsbehindthe
locationbefore proceeding.Makesurethereissufficientrearaccessfor
mountingand cabling.
1. Checkthe selectedlocationforthe unit.A clear, flatarea at least9 in (230
mm) wideby 8¼ in (210mm)high,with at least 6.9in (176 mm) of clear-
ancebehind thepanel,is required.
2. Unpacktheflush-mountingkit.
3. Usingthesuppliedtemplate,traceout the displayunit opening.
4. Drilla ½ in(12.7 mm) pilothole in each cornerofthecut-out area.
5. Usingasuitablesaw, cutalongthe insideedgeofthecut-out line.
6. Removethemounting bracketknobs and bracketfrom the displayunit.
Makesurethattheunit fitsin the cut-outarea.
Iftheoptionalscrew fittingis required,drillfour3/16in(5mm) holesas
indicated on the template.
Screwthe studsintotheholes providedat therear ofthedisplay.
7. Connectthe DC power cable,inter-unitcable,and any otheraccessory
cablesto thedisplay. Avoidtight bendsinthe cables.
8. Placethe gasket on theunit and slidetheunitinto thepanel cut-out.
9. Usetheflush-mounting kit to securetheunit to theconsole.
Alternatively, placea spacerovereach of thefour studsand secure with
thethumbnuts.
