Saving the Current Route
Youcansaveupto20namedroutesintheroutedatabaselist.Theseroutescan
thenbe re-displayedandfollowed atalaterdate.Whenyou save the route,all
newwaypoints aresavedin the WaypointList.
Note:If the currentroutehas not been saved, whenyouattemptan operation
thataffectsthisroute,e.g. CLEAR ROUTE,you are promptedto saveit.
➤ To saveandnamethecurrentroute:
1. To accesstheSAVE ROUTE softkey, pressthe ROUTE softkey, followedby
MORE.
2. PresstheSAVE ROUTE softkey.Thesaveroutepop-upandtheNAME ROUTE
softkeys aredisplayed as illustratedinFigure 5-6.
3. Thenextavailableentry on the routelistis highlighted.
(Ifrequired,you can use the trackpad to selectanother positionin the list;
thiscan be a blankslot, or an existingroute thatyounolongerrequire).

4. Ifyoudonotwishto name or re-name the route,pressthe NO soft key to
clearthelist.The route is savedand is listedasRouteNotNamed.
If you wish to name the route press the YES soft key. Use the trackpadto
movethecursorright orleft tothecharacter you wishtoedit.Thenusethe
toporbottomof the trackpadtoincreaseordecreasethe letteror number.
