1.1 Introduction

This handbook describes the DS400X and DS500X Digital Fishfinders. The

DS400/500X feature state-of-the-art High Definition Fish Imaging (HDFI)

technology. Constantly adjusting transmitter and receiver parameters

throughout the water column, the DS400/500X intelligently analyzes fish

and bottom echoes and automatically produces a crystal clear echo sounder

display.
